Sport has been a big part of my life from my early days on the tennis court, through to netball, hockey, swimming and
riding. I have competed for many teams at club level and ridden affiliated dressage.
I discovered Pilates about 12 years ago and at first decided it really wasn't for me. However, I stuck with it and after a
few sessions I came to realise the difference in the shape and tone of my body. I am constantly inspired when I hear
people saying how much Pilates has helped to improve their fitness or overcome an injury or mobility problem. I truly
believe in Pilates and the benefits it can bring to your health and fitness.
Following redundancy in 2009 I took the plunge and trained as an instructor with Body Control Pilates.
In 2013 I started my LEVEL 4 training with two courses in London with Body control Pilates on Movement and
Adaptations and recently I have attended a course with Tranquility Pilates on combining movements with meridians
and training the upper body.
I am fully insured and hold a current certificate in CPR (basic life support).
I currently teach 14 classes, either beginners or mixed ability level at 7 venues throughout Medway/Longfield area.
