Pilates exercises are built around our core principles of:
Concentration, Relaxation, Alignment, Breathing, Centring,
Co-ordination, Stamina and Free Flowing Movement.
Pilates is a mind/body exercise that literally teaches you to be in control of your own body.
Pilates will bring about a sense of well being in your body. From an improvement in your posture, strength and flexibility
to being able to handle stress and sleep well.
Classes and Prices
Group classes are limited to a maximum of 12 to ensure a high level of instruction and support.
Pilates involves hands on correction
£8.00 per session (booked in 6 week blocks). Ability to make up missed classes subject to availability. In certain circumstances
where clients cannot make all 6 weeks in a block a minimum of 3 classes can be booked at a cost of £12.00 per class.
Class Cancellation Policy: Please contact me if you are unable to make a class at short notice. I can then arrange for you
to make up your missed class on an alternative day/time/venue. Missed classes can only be made up subject to availability
and are not refundable. Please try to make up your missed class as soon as possible but I am happy to carry it forward to
the next block if necessary. Unadvised missed classes cannot be made up and missed make up classes cannot be made up
or carried forward.
How Fit do I need to be?
You do not need to be fit. Pilates is suitable for first time exercisers through to elite athletes.
What do I need to bring?
Nothing all mats, cushions and equipment is provided.
What do I need to Wear?
Comfortable clothing that is relatively close fitting to enable the instructor to check your alignment. Trainers are not worn
during exercise. Bare feet or non slip socks are preferred.
When will I see a difference?
Literally after several weeks you should begin to notice a difference.
As Joseph Pilates said:
